★FESTIVAL★

I’m going to talk about origin of Thanksgiving. Originally Thanksgiving was held to celebrate harvesting and to thank blessing for a year. So Thanksgiving’s another name is blessing day. It is held forth November in America.
In 1620, the Pilgrim Fathers visited at the America continent to desire for free, they faced cold, hunger and difficulty. 102 people died. But the major cause is this reason. Americans taught them agriculture and how to hunt. So they can survive, they were glad and thanked for God.
Now people worship at church and they eat turkey for dinner. Why do people eat turkey? Because of they ate turkey with Native Americans.

MOVIE

KOIZORA
I saw movie of KOIZORA. It’s a Japanese movie. It’s a love story. Main characters are Hiro and Mika. They were 16 years old. Hiro fell in love with Mika. But at first Mika didn’t like Hiro. Because of he was prancing about in a frivolous manner. But he was earnest for Mika. So she gradually loved him. But his semi girlfriend had jealous for her, so she bullied her. When he knew these things, he protected herself. Then she was blessed with a child, but because of bullying, she had a miscarried. After that they had good relationship more and more. But one day he suddenly said good-bye. And they separated.

A few month later she a new boyfriend, but she still loved Hiro. Every year Christmas day Mika went to her child grave. Although, another day, Hiro went there, too. One day she saw his friend. She said, “Why are you here? “ But he didn’t answer. She said again “Why?” he said “He’s cancer!!”・・・・・She said ”Is it a joke isn’t it?”
In fact Hiro was cancer. Because of he said her good-bye. He wouldn’t give trouble to her. So he said such a thing. As soon as heard, she went to hospital. He was very surprise. He still loved her, too. At first he rallied her, but soon opened up to each other. When Mika went to a photo shop, her cellar phone rang. This was Hiro’s sister. She said “He’s in critical condition.” She gave cellar phone for him. He said Mika “Mika, smile.” And he died. This story is non fiction.




ALADDIN

I saw Aladdin Disney movie last week. It’s a love and adventure story. The main character is Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie. Aladdin was a robber. And she’s queen. Because of she went out a palace, they met at market. Then they first sight fell love with each other. But they had the gap between rich and poor. So Genie dream came true Aladdin’s dream. His dream was to get married her. But there was a person who tried to deprive the authority of king. So halfway of story Genie was controlled Gaffer. And temporary the world bad situation, but they cooperated to defeat Gaffer. End of story everyone became happy.
